  • This role is perfect for a driven and ambitious individual with a genuine passion for communications technology, a commitment to delivering exceptional customer outcomes, and a desire to contribute to a world-class sales organization.
  • As the Sales Support Specialist, you will be the operational linchpin, acting as the crucial connection between Account Executives (AEs) and various internal departments, ensuring seamless execution across the entire sales cycle.
  • Your primary focus will be on providing comprehensive operational support to AEs, enabling them to concentrate on strategic selling and client relationships.
  • You will play a pivotal role in managing and streamlining pricing and deal workflows, ensuring accuracy and efficiency from initial quote to final order.
  • This includes mastering internal pricing tools and meticulously preparing pricing and deal structures to meet client needs and business objectives.
  • A key responsibility will be the creation, amendment, and execution of Order Forms, including obtaining necessary signatures.
  • You will proactively engage with client stakeholders to verify the accuracy of Proposal Bill of Materials (BOMs) within Order Forms, ensuring all details are correct before finalization.
  • You will be instrumental in the quote creation process, utilizing and becoming proficient in Configure, Price, Quote (CPQ) workflows.
  • This involves expertly converting CPQ outputs into professional, customer-facing quotes and documentation that clearly articulate proposed solutions and pricing.
  • Maintaining the integrity and accuracy of CRM records will be a core function, ensuring all account, opportunity, contact, and lead data is up-to-date and reflects the current sales landscape.
  • You will be the go-to person for managing account data and ownership queries, including complex tasks such as account consolidation and SID movements, ensuring data consistency and clarity.
  • Beyond CRM, you will serve as a vital internal liaison, initiating and diligently following up on requests across multiple departments.
  • This includes coordinating with Billing, DSO (likely a financial or operational department), Legal, Security Questionnaire teams, Collections, Credit Memos, Credit Checks, Carrier Relations, and Support Ticketing systems.
  • Your ability to navigate these interdependencies will be crucial for resolving issues and moving deals forward efficiently.
  • You will collaborate closely with internal stakeholders such as Deal Desk, Contracts, Legal, Pre-Sales engineers, and Security teams to ensure all aspects of the sales process are executed smoothly and without friction.
  • A critical part of your role is ensuring all necessary paperwork is accurately completed and consistently represented across all documentation.
  • You will be adept at managing people, complex data sets, and intricate processes, bringing order and clarity to potentially challenging situations.
  • Providing direct customer support will be an important facet of this role, offering assistance and information as needed.
  • You will demonstrate the willingness and ability to join customer calls alongside AEs, contributing to client discussions.
  • On these calls, you will be expected to explain and present relevant aspects of Twilio's offerings and processes, acting as a knowledgeable resource.
  • A portion of your time (less than 10%) will be dedicated to preparing for sales meetings and conducting essential AE research, providing valuable insights and groundwork.
  • You will actively contribute to Team Success by creating and maintaining team-level trackers for all cross-functional challenges and tasks.
  • You will proactively work with Regional Leaders and frontline management to follow up on these items and drive them to resolution, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
  • This role demands a proactive, organized, and detail-oriented individual who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and is eager to make a significant impact on sales performance and customer satisfaction.
  • By excelling in these responsibilities, you will directly contribute to the efficiency and success of the sales team and enhance the overall customer experience with Twilio.
