- • The Salesforce Marketing Cloud Engineer role at Valtech SE is critical for delivering large-scale, enterprise-grade Marketing Cloud implementations that drive digital transformation for global brands. This position enables the creation of personalized, data-driven customer experiences by translating marketing needs into scalable technical solutions.
- • Day-to-day responsibilities include developing and configuring SFMC components such as Email Studio, Journey Builder, Automation Studio, Mobile Studio, Cloud Pages, and Content Builder; building responsive email templates using HTML, CSS, and AMPscript; implementing complex customer journeys and decision splits; configuring Data Extensions and SQL queries for segmentation and personalization; developing SSJS scripts for advanced logic; integrating SFMC with Treasure Data (CDP) and adjacent platforms via REST/SOAP APIs; supporting data flow monitoring, troubleshooting integration issues; contributing to reusable assets aligned with Petcare global standards; applying development best practices including version control, code reviews, and peer testing; collaborating with QA on test strategies and defect resolution; supporting deployments, release management, and hypercare; and contributing to continuous improvement in performance, deliverability, accessibility, and compliance (GDPR, consent management).

🎯 Requirements
- • 3–5 years of hands-on experience as an SFMC Developer on enterprise-scale programs
- • Strong command of AMPscript, SSJS, SQL, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript in the SFMC context
- • Proven experience with Journey Builder, Automation Studio, Email Studio, and Mobile Studio
- • Experience integrating SFMC with CDPs (Treasure Data preferred), CRMs (Salesforce Sales/Service Cloud), and APIs
- • Understanding of CRM and marketing automation principles: segmentation, personalization, lifecycle marketing, deliverability
- • Familiarity with consent management, data privacy (GDPR), and email best practices
- • Fluent in English (written and spoken)
- • Detail-oriented with a strong quality and ownership mindset
- • Collaborative team player able to work in agile/Scrum setups with cross-functional peers
- • Solution-oriented, comfortable troubleshooting complex data and integration issues
- • Eager to learn, with curiosity for evolving martech and AI-driven personalization use cases
