  • • As the Salesforce Platform Manager at Capita plc, you will lead the product strategy, technology roadmap, and delivery for Capita’s Salesforce platforms, playing a pivotal role in aligning technology with business objectives to drive efficiency, innovation, and customer value across public and private sector clients.
  • • You will engage with Capita’s diverse business units and functions to develop a forward-looking product roadmap for the Salesforce platform, ensuring that delivered solutions meet strategic business needs while maintaining cost-effectiveness and scalability.
  • • Your day-to-day responsibilities will include designing and executing the Salesforce product strategy and technology roadmap, identifying opportunities to leverage AI agents (such as Agentforce) for automation and efficiency gains, and translating business requirements into actionable technical solutions.
  • • You will analyse market trends, gather user insights, assess competitive offerings, and ensure continuous improvement throughout the product lifecycle, particularly in the integration of Agentic AI capabilities like LLM and API-driven features within the Salesforce ecosystem.
  • • A core part of your role will involve leading collaboration between operations, service delivery, and business units to roll out intelligent features with clear business impact, ensuring compliance oversight and seamless integration of Salesforce technologies into Capita and customer systems.
  • • You will identify and evaluate software components, modules, and capabilities across the Salesforce product portfolio, recommending appropriate product selections to meet customer needs while optimising for performance, cost, and scalability.
  • • You will deliver strategy and technical capability for integrating Salesforce technologies into internal and client systems, driving innovation by unlocking AI-led market opportunities and enhancing service delivery through intelligent automation.
  • • You will lead and manage a team, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous learning, while applying Agile methodologies to ensure timely and high-quality delivery of platform enhancements.

🎯 Requirements

  • • Proven senior leadership in Salesforce delivery, with a track record of managing complex platform implementations and technology roadmaps.
  • • Deep understanding of Salesforce software modules, including Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud, and Experience Cloud, with hands-on experience in configuration and customisation.
  • • Experience implementing or managing AI-driven features within the Salesforce platform, particularly Agentic AI capabilities such as Agentforce, LLM integration, and API-based automation.
  • • Understanding of Agentic AI concepts, including large language models (LLMs), API integration, and intelligent automation frameworks within enterprise CRM environments.
  • • Excellent stakeholder management, strategic thinking, and cross-functional leadership abilities, with experience influencing executives and aligning technology with business goals.
  • • Strong ability to translate business requirements into actionable technical solutions, ensuring solutions are scalable, cost-effective, and aligned with organisational objectives.
  • • Experience in software development practices, particularly Agile methodologies (e.g., Scrum, Kanban), and familiarity with DevOps principles for continuous delivery.
  • • Experience managing and leading a team, including performance development, resource allocation, and fostering a collaborative, high-performance culture.
  • • Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with stakeholders, executives, product teams, and technical teams across diverse business units.
