📋 Description

• As a Salesforce QA Automation Engineer at Motiv Inc., you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of Salesforce-based enterprise applications that power mission-critical operations for nearly 100,000 customers across industries such as transportation, logistics, construction, energy, and manufacturing. Your work directly contributes to safer, more productive, and profitable physical operations by validating that automation, configurations, and integrations function flawlessly before reaching end users.
• You will own the end-to-end testing lifecycle for Salesforce CRM (Sales & Service Cloud) and related enterprise systems, collaborating with developers, business analysts, product owners, and administrators to translate requirements into comprehensive test strategies. Your day-to-day responsibilities include designing and executing detailed test cases, managing test data integrity, identifying and documenting defects with clear reproduction steps, and driving continuous improvement in QA processes through automation, peer reviews, and post-mortem analysis. You will be expected to maintain high defect detection rates in lower environments to prevent leakage into production, while actively contributing to team knowledge sharing and onboarding efforts.

• In this role, you will deepen your expertise in Salesforce QA automation, gaining hands-on experience with modern frameworks like Playwright and Selenium while working in an agile, fast-paced environment. You will develop strong cross-functional collaboration skills, refine your ability to advocate for quality throughout the SDLC, and position yourself as a trusted quality advisor within a growing tech organization that values technical excellence and process innovation.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is required
• 3-4 years of experience in manual software testing with a focus on Salesforce CRM, plus at least 1 year of experience in test automation using tools such as Selenium (Java/Python) or Playwright (JavaScript/TypeScript)
• Strong understanding of Salesforce CRM platform and configurations (Sales & Service Cloud), including solid SFDC admin skills; knowledge of CPQ, Zuora, Boomi, or NetSuite is a plus; Salesforce certifications (e.g., Administrator, Platform App Builder) are preferred
