📋 Description

• • As a Salesforce Quality Assurance Consultant at Guidehouse, you will be a pivotal member of a dynamic and expanding practice, dedicated to ensuring the highest standards of quality, reliability, and successful delivery of complex Salesforce solutions.
• • Your primary responsibility will be to meticulously design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans, detailed test cases, and robust test scripts tailored for Salesforce implementations.
• • You will conduct a variety of testing types, including manual and automated testing, system integration testing, regression testing to ensure no unintended side effects, user acceptance testing (UAT) to validate business needs, exploratory testing to uncover hidden issues, and end-to-end testing to confirm seamless workflow across the entire system.
• • A critical aspect of your role involves the identification, isolation, detailed documentation, and diligent tracking of defects and bugs, working collaboratively to ensure their timely resolution and obtaining quality sign-off before deployment.
• • You will actively participate in agile delivery team ceremonies, including Sprint Planning, Daily Standups, Sprint Demos, and various working sessions, providing crucial QA insights and feedback.
• • Proactively review business requirements and functional specifications, offering early and constructive feedback to identify potential gaps, ambiguities, or risks that could impact quality or project timelines.
• • You will be responsible for validating fixes for reported defects, meticulously verifying that these corrections do not introduce new issues or negatively impact existing functionality (regression testing).
• • Evaluate user interfaces (UIs) to ensure they are not only functionally accurate but also meet standards for usability, accessibility, and conformity with design guidelines.
• • Ensure that all user stories are clearly defined, align with established acceptance criteria, and meet the stringent quality standards expected across all deployed environments.
• • Foster strong collaborative relationships with Salesforce developers, declarative specialists, business analysts, project managers, and other stakeholders to ensure a unified approach to delivery quality.
• • Support the creation and ongoing maintenance of essential test data and comprehensive test documentation required throughout the various QA cycles.
• • Actively contribute to the continuous improvement of QA processes, tools, and methodologies, both within your project team and across the broader QA function at Guidehouse.
• • You will leverage your understanding of Salesforce functionalities, including Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Lightning Experience, and the underlying Salesforce data models, to inform your testing strategies.
• • Apply your knowledge of QA methodologies, Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC), and established testing strategies to your daily work.
• • Utilize hands-on experience with test automation tools and QA platforms, such as Selenium, various test automation frameworks, and defect tracking systems like JIRA, to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
• • Employ excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills to effectively collaborate with diverse cross-functional teams, ensuring clear understanding and resolution of issues.
• • Demonstrate strong attention to detail, translating complex requirements into precise and effective test scenarios and test cases.
• • Maintain the ability to adapt to the constantly evolving Salesforce ecosystem, embracing new features and functionalities rapidly.
• • You will play a key role in ensuring that the Salesforce solutions delivered by Guidehouse are robust, reliable, and meet the highest quality benchmarks, directly contributing to client satisfaction and project success.
