📋 Description

• Serve as a functional Subject Matter Expert in SAP Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) and Asset Accounting (FI-AA) to support the Joint Transportation Management System (JTMS) within an Agile environment, ensuring seamless integration between operational asset management and financial reporting for mission-critical transportation infrastructure and equipment.
• Lead the design, configuration, and validation of SAP S/4HANA EAM processes including asset master data, functional locations, equipment structures, maintenance planning (preventive, corrective, predictive), work order execution, and full asset lifecycle tracking from acquisition to disposal.
• Drive FI-AA processes such as asset capitalization, depreciation methods, transfers, retirements, disposals, and integration with the Universal Journal, ensuring accurate financial valuation, compliance, and audit readiness.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Finance (FI/CO/FM), Procurement (MM), Logistics (TM/EWM), and Warehouse teams to align asset lifecycle events with financial postings and enable end-to-end visibility across transportation and logistics operations.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, backlog refinement, stand-ups, and retrospectives; translate business needs into user stories and acceptance criteria; partner with Product Owners to prioritize capabilities and deliver iterative enhancements.
• Conduct fit-gap analyses, develop functional specifications, and recommend solutions balancing standard SAP functionality with complex DoD program requirements; support testing (SIT/UAT), cutover, data migration validation, and go-live activities.
• Ensure data integrity, compliance, and audit readiness by validating asset master data, financial records, and depreciation calculations; identify and resolve discrepancies and control gaps.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Information Systems, Business, or a related field
• 8+ years of SAP functional experience with deep specialization in SAP Transportation Management (TM)
• Proven experience supporting SAP S/4HANA implementations in large, complex environments
• Strong understanding of end-to-end transportation and logistics operations
• Ability to facilitate workshops, influence stakeholders, and drive consensus across diverse teams
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
