- • As an SAP Payroll Configuration Consultant, you will support U.S. Payroll implementations and ongoing support initiatives.
- • You will be responsible for end-to-end payroll configuration, including tax model setup, wage type configuration, GL posting setup, and gross-up calculations.
- • You will work closely with the Payroll Lead Consultant, providing backup support and occasionally leading smaller payroll implementations.
- • Collaboration with integration leads is essential to ensure seamless data flow and process efficiency across systems.
- • Key responsibilities include configuration and delivery, payroll process optimization, technical enhancements and maintenance, integration and collaboration, and reporting and stakeholder communication.
- • You will perform hands-on configuration of SAP Payroll (U.S.), ensuring alignment with approved payroll design documents and business requirements.
- • You will lead and execute configuration tasks, including tax model setup, wage type configuration, GL posting setup, and gross-up calculations.
- • You will support the Payroll Lead Consultant and act as a backup for assigned tasks and responsibilities.
- • You will lead small-scale payroll implementations, managing configuration, testing, and deployment.
- • You will optimize key payroll processes, including gross-to-net calculations, tax reporting and compliance, garnishment setup and management, third-party remittances, year-end activities, and accrual setup.
- • You will conduct parallel payroll testing, troubleshooting issues, and resolve integration challenges.
- • You will develop and refine custom operations, rules, and user exits as needed.
- • You will apply support packs and maintain system performance and compliance.
- • You will collaborate with integration leads to ensure seamless integration with SAP FI, Time Management, Benefits, Compensation, and third-party systems.
- • You will work cross-functionally to ensure end-to-end payroll process efficiency.
- • You will communicate progress, risks, and issues clearly to project management and stakeholders.
- • You will provide documentation and support for testing, training, and post-go-live activities.
🎯 Requirements
- • Minimum 7+ years of hands-on experience configuring SAP Payroll (ECP or HCM) with a strong focus on U.S. Payroll.
- • Proven experience in tax model setup and BSI Tax Factory integration, wage type configuration and payroll catalog setup, GL posting configuration, gross-up calculations and off-cycle payroll processing, garnishment configuration and management, and month-end accrual setup.
- • Successful delivery of at least 3+ full lifecycle SAP Payroll implementations.
- • Strong communication skills and ability to work with cross-functional and remote teams.
- • Highly self-motivated and capable of working independently in a fast-paced environment.
