  • • As a SAP Security Specialist at CACI International Inc., you will play a pivotal role in supporting the modernization and transformation of critical enterprise business solutions for NASA. This is a unique opportunity to leverage your expertise in SAP security to ensure the integrity, compliance, and operational efficiency of complex systems that underpin national missions.
  • • You will be instrumental in translating intricate functional specifications into robust SAP role designs, meticulously crafting security roles that align with stringent business requirements and regulatory standards. This involves a deep dive into the technical aspects of user and authorization management within SAP environments, ensuring that access controls are both effective and efficient.
  • • A core responsibility will be the remediation of Segregation of Duties (SoD) conflicts. You will analyze existing configurations, identify potential risks, and design and implement appropriate mitigating controls to safeguard sensitive data and processes. This requires a thorough understanding of business processes and the ability to apply practical security solutions.
  • • You will act as a subject matter expert, providing technical direction and guidance to clients and agency stakeholders. This involves not only understanding the technical intricacies of SAP security but also effectively communicating complex issues and solutions to individuals at all levels, from operational teams to executive leadership.
  • • Collaborating closely with customers, business analysts, and fellow team members is essential. You will transform agency business requirements into flexible business processes, utilizing both SAP standard functionalities and custom extensions. This ensures that the implemented solutions are aligned with NASA's mission objectives and adhere to the organization's architectural IT standards.
  • • Beyond design and implementation, you will provide crucial day-to-day sustainment support. This includes ensuring the ongoing reliability and performance of SAP systems, addressing security-related incidents, and proactively identifying areas for improvement to maintain a secure and stable operating environment.
  • • The role demands a proactive approach to security, staying abreast of the latest SAP security trends, best practices, and potential vulnerabilities. You will contribute to a culture of security awareness and continuous improvement within the team and the broader organization.
  • • You will be involved in the maintenance of the GRC risk library, ensuring that roles and authorizations across various SAP modules (R/3/ECC, BW4HANA, S4HANA) are accurately documented and managed. This includes meticulous user administration to maintain an up-to-date and secure user base.
  • • Configuration and maintenance of SAP GRC (Governance, Risk, and Compliance) tools, specifically versions 10.1 and 12.0, will be a key part of your responsibilities. This includes managing Firefighter (E-SSO) configurations and ensuring their proper usage and oversight.
  • • You will contribute to the overall success of CACI's Agile Digital Solutions Operating Group by ensuring that SAP security solutions are not only technically sound but also strategically aligned with the long-term goals of NASA and CACI.
  • • This position offers the chance to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment where your contributions directly impact the success of critical government missions. You will be part of a team that values collaboration, innovation, and a commitment to excellence.
  • • The role requires a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent professional experience, demonstrating a strong foundation in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or Information Management Systems.
  • • A key aspect of this role involves obtaining and maintaining a NASA Public Trust background investigation, underscoring the sensitive nature of the work and the trust placed in our team members.
  • • You will have the opportunity to work remotely, providing flexibility while contributing to vital national security initiatives.
  • • The position involves up to 10% travel within the Continental US, allowing for occasional in-person collaboration and client engagement.
  • • You will be part of a company that fosters a culture of integrity, trust, and continuous growth, offering robust learning resources and a supportive work environment.
