Full Job Description
đź“‹ Description
- • Own the design and execution of scaled, higher-touch programming for approximately 600 top mid-market creators on Patreon, ensuring they feel supported and empowered to grow their businesses.
- • Build and manage lifecycle email series, newsletters, and automated outreach campaigns that maintain a personal tone while operating at scale across a large creator cohort.
- • Design and run virtual office hours and 1:many events that provide creators with actionable guidance, product education, and community connection without requiring 1:1 time for every creator.
- • Develop repeatable, scalable playbooks and processes for creator engagement that can operate autonomously after initial setup, reducing dependency on manual intervention.
- • Use data signals from CRM and outreach tools (e.g., Salesforce, Airtable) to prioritize creator outreach, identify at-risk users, and surface high-potential opportunities for engagement.
- • Serve as the primary touchpoint for mid-market creators, recognizing when a creator needs deeper support—such as a growth strategy conversation or product walkthrough—and escalating or intervening appropriately.
- • Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Marketing, and Creator Success teams to align scaled programming with platform features, product updates, and creator needs.
- • Publish and iterate on content that educates and motivates creators, including tips for monetization, community building, and platform utilization, tailored to mid-market audience segments.
- • Measure the effectiveness of all scaled programs through engagement metrics, retention rates, and creator feedback, using insights to refine strategies and optimize outcomes.
- • Establish new programs from scratch in an early-stage role, with no existing playbook; define structure, cadence, channels, and success metrics independently.
- • Maintain the unique personal touch that defines Patreon’s creator experience, even as programs scale to serve hundreds of creators simultaneously.
- • Advocate for creator needs internally, translating patterns in creator behavior and feedback into product and operational recommendations.
- • Ensure all communications reflect Patreon’s core values: putting creators first, building with craft, making it happen, and winning together.
- • Operate in a hybrid model with two required in-office days per week in either New York or San Francisco, fostering team cohesion and collaborative ideation.
🎯 Requirements
- • 5 or more years of experience in creator success, partnerships, community management, or a related creator-economy role, or equivalent experience
- • Demonstrated experience building or running scaled programs, lifecycle email campaigns, or creator programming—owned an email series, newsletter, or event program end-to-end
- • Written communication skills demonstrated at scale—write outreach that feels personal and adapt voice for milestone emails, newsletters, and educational content
- • Fluency with CRM and outreach tools (Salesforce, Airtable, or equivalent) and ability to use data signals to prioritize work across large creator cohorts
- • Track record of building repeatable processes and playbooks—created infrastructure or programming that continued to work without managing every instance
- • Able to define your own structure in an early-stage role—this program doesn’t exist yet, and you’ll build the approach from the ground up
🏖️ Benefits
- • Competitive salary and equity plans
- • Healthcare coverage
- • Flexible time off and company holidays with recharge days
- • Commuter benefits
- • Lifestyle stipends
- • Learning and development stipends
- • Patronage (creator support benefits)
- • Parental leave
- • 401k plan with matching
- • Hybrid work model with two in-office days per week in New York or San Francisco
