📋 Description
• As a Schadensachbearbeiter (w/m/d) Haftpflicht, you will be responsible for the independent processing and evaluation of liability claims in the areas of operational liability, product liability, and building liability.
• You will examine the grounds for liability, insurance coverage, and contractual claims, and assess claims from third parties, making decisions on defense, regulation, or settlement.
• You will communicate and coordinate with insurance policyholders, claimants, insurers, lawyers, experts, and other external parties.
• You will manage the entire claims process, including deadline control, documentation, and quality assurance.
• You will have empathetic, yet secure and sovereign negotiation skills when dealing with all parties involved in the claim.
• You will be responsible for the formation, examination, and monitoring of claims reserves.
• You will examine and enforce claims for reimbursement and recovery.
• After a structured onboarding process, you will take over the independent processing of your own liability portfolio, and you can always rely on the support of experienced colleagues in the Liability team.
• We work closely together and help each other.
• We are looking for someone who is enthusiastic about independent, structured work and the management of complex claims.
• You should have a secure understanding of liability law and insurance conditions.
• You should have a passion for digital processes and the development of claims processing.
• You should have very good German language skills in writing and speaking; English language skills are an advantage but not a must.
