- • Coordinates scheduling and referrals for patient services by collecting data directly from patients and referring provider offices to confirm and create appointments.
- • Obtains necessary approvals for schedule changes or cancellations in accordance with established protocols.
- • Maintains and updates provider contact information to ensure accurate and current records.
- • Enters all medical appointments, special instructions, and patient information into the electronic medical system with precision and timeliness.
- • Adheres to site-specific protocols and maintains up-to-date documentation to ensure regulatory and operational compliance.
- • Performs additional duties as assigned to support the efficient operation of the Clinic Business Services department.
- • Supports Pod 3-Monroe, which includes Cardio, Ortho, Sports Med, Pod, Oncol, Rehum, PallCare, Nephr, and Wound services.
- • Requires onsite training for up to six months prior to full remote work eligibility.
- • Works a full-time schedule of 40 hours per week during the Day Shift.
- • Uses keyboard and data entry systems frequently throughout the workday.
- • Communicates orally with patients, providers, and internal teams to relay critical scheduling information.
- • Applies vision and depth perception for both near and far distances to accurately interpret digital interfaces and documents.
- • Uses hearing and speech to effectively communicate and respond to alarms or system alerts.
- • Performs frequent sitting, standing, walking, reaching, and repetitive hand/arm and foot/leg movements.
- • Occasionally bends, stoops, kneels, squats, twists, and grips to perform tasks as needed.
- • Lifts, carries, pushes, or pulls objects weighing up to 25 lbs frequently and up to 50 lbs occasionally.
- • Rarely climbs as part of job duties.
- • No professional licenses or certifications are required for this role.
