- • Serve as the primary subject matter expert for payroll compliance, legislation, and local regulations in the assigned country or region.
- • Act as the central reference point for internal teams on standard payroll services, business processes, Strada Cloud Pay (SCP) technology, and regulatory matters.
- • Proactively monitor and analyze upcoming changes to payroll laws and tax regulations using Compliance Alerts, global payroll associations, professional literature, and external advisors.
- • Collaborate with the Product Configuration team to update SCP country workbooks, prioritize improvements that eliminate manual workarounds, and enhance SCP’s competitiveness in the local market.
- • Review and optimize current payroll procedures and checklists to align with best practices and reduce reliance on ad-hoc solutions.
- • Ensure SCP for the assigned country achieves and maintains “general availability” compliance status and undergoes periodic external audits and recertification.
- • Drive continuous improvement of SCP’s functionality, cost-effectiveness, and user experience to strengthen Strada’s market position.
- • Define Business Requirement Documents (BRDs) for non-functional and functional improvements, prioritize them at the country level, and align them with the product roadmap.
- • Provide subject matter expertise to Strada Pay project teams during client deployments, ensuring alignment with Strada Payroll Standards and effective transition into operations.
- • Act as the gatekeeper for client customization requests, vetting, approving, or rejecting them in consultation with SR, OPS, CSL, AD, and the Product Configuration team; escalate unresolved cases to the SCP Steering Committee.
- • Train and empower “Floor Walkers” — operational super-users who coach teams and promote full utilization of SCP functionality and best practices.
- • Support Floor Walkers in training payroll managers, specialists, and associates to maximize SCP adoption and supplement with auxiliary services when needed.
- • Serve as the go-to expert for pre-sales support, showcasing SCP capabilities, discussing dos/don’ts, successes, pitfalls, and lessons learned to clients and internal stakeholders.
- • Represent the assigned country in the SCP Country Champion Network and contribute to global standardization efforts through summits and collaborative forums.
- • Participate in SCP Steering Committee meetings to influence and prioritize the global SCP development roadmap.
- • For mature markets, assume ownership of operational delivery for a portfolio of clients, ensuring timeliness, accuracy, compliance, predictability, and cost efficiency in payroll service delivery.
- • Provide operational and service level data to clients and account directors to build trust and demonstrate service performance.
- • Serve as the escalation point for client issues related to payroll service delivery and compliance.
- • Maintain expert-level knowledge of Workday, SuccessFactors, and Oracle HCM systems.
- • Demonstrate mastery of MS Office tools including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint with strong attention to detail.
- • Foster a culture of continuous improvement by ensuring each day delivers incremental progress over the previous.
- • Lead and manage teams effectively while fully mastering the art of delegation.
- • Collaborate seamlessly within a global, matrixed, fast-paced environment as a self-starter who naturally takes ownership.
- • Communicate with excellence in both written and verbal forms, and demonstrate curiosity and commitment to personal and team development.
