• • As an SDET Lead, you will be instrumental in upholding and enhancing the quality, reliability, and maintainability of our sophisticated automated testing frameworks. Your expertise will be crucial in ensuring comprehensive code coverage across our diverse software products and vital data sources. This role demands a proactive approach to identifying and mitigating potential issues, thereby safeguarding the integrity and performance of our cutting-edge solutions.
• • You will be responsible for the end-to-end implementation, configuration, and ongoing maintenance of robust automation tools and frameworks. A key aspect of this role involves ensuring these frameworks are scalable, sustainable, and efficient, capable of supporting multiple teams and diverse environments, particularly within Kubernetes infrastructures.
• • A significant part of your contribution will involve leveraging a suite of advanced automation tools and frameworks, including Pytest, Playwright, K6, NeoLoad, TestKube, and JMeter. You will be adept at creating and maintaining automated tests, utilizing both Python and Java programming languages to achieve desired outcomes.
• • Integrating these automated tests seamlessly into our Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines is paramount. This ensures continuous feedback loops, enabling rapid iteration and early detection of defects, thereby accelerating our development lifecycle.
• • You will demonstrate a strong command of creating intricate test scenarios, effectively mocking data and API calls to facilitate automated Integration, Regression, System, and End-to-End testing. This expertise is particularly vital for our cloud-based platforms, encompassing back-end software, microservices, and complex data sources.
• • A core responsibility includes streamlining the automation test setup process to ensure effortless maintainability of test data, scripts, execution results, and test fixtures, promoting a highly organized and efficient testing environment.
• • The role involves performing comprehensive automated Load, Performance, Stress, and Database testing to guarantee our systems can withstand demanding operational conditions and deliver optimal performance.
• • You will utilize your proficiency in Linux, MySQL, Kubernetes, Docker, and MongoDB to execute complex back-end queries and meticulously validate large, intricate data sets, ensuring data accuracy and consistency.
• • Setting up, generating, and reporting on test execution results and key test coverage metrics will be a regular duty, providing critical insights into the quality of our software.
• • You will be tasked with defining test scenarios, developing detailed scripts and procedures, and meticulously mapping acceptance criteria to test cases and automated scripts to ensure full requirements traceability and compliance.
• • A crucial leadership component involves documenting best practices and actively training development and QA teams on the effective utilization of our automation tools and frameworks, fostering a culture of quality and shared knowledge.
