📋 Description

• This role is a Seasonal Competitive Cyclist Gearhead, serving as the first point of customer contact for Competitive Cyclist and Backcountry, where deep product expertise and authentic rider engagement directly drive customer retention, purchase frequency, and top-line growth.
• Day to day, the Gearhead will provide high-touch customer service via phone, chat, or email, translating technical bike knowledge into meaningful conversations about drivetrain compatibility, saddle selection, gravel vs. CX builds, and apparel fit, while championing ownership, quality, and rider experience through authentic interactions.
• The team at CSC Generation Holdings, Inc. operates as the lifeblood of Competitive Cyclist and Backcountry, prioritizing high-touch service as a core differentiator in a competitive market, with a culture rooted in passion for cycling and customer-centric innovation.
• In this role, the person will deepen their technical expertise in road and mountain bike components, fit, and gear; refine consultative sales and customer service skills; and gain direct impact on customer loyalty and brand perception through expert, passionate interactions that elevate the brand experience.

🎯 Requirements

• Deep, hands-on knowledge of road and/or mountain bikes, including components, fit, apparel, and gear, with fluency in discussing drivetrain compatibility, saddle selection, and differences between gravel and CX builds.
• Availability for paid training from May 26–June 9, 2026, Monday–Friday, 9am–5pm MST (with equivalent time zones), with no days allowed to be missed.
• Ability to work a weekly rotating schedule post-training, including at least one weekend day per week and weekday availability until 9pm MST (8pm PST | 10pm CST | 11pm EST).
• Reliable wired internet connection (no mobile setups permitted) for remote work.
• Passion for cycling and customer service, with the ability to authentically connect product expertise to rider experience.
