• We are seeking a highly technical and driven Product Manager to join our dynamic Blockchain team. This role is pivotal in building the foundational infrastructure that powers tokenized assets and cutting-edge on-chain financial products. This is not a typical product management position focused solely on user interfaces and wireframes. Instead, it's a deeply technical product role where you will work in close proximity to our engineering teams, delve into the intricacies of smart contract behavior and protocol integrations, and play a crucial role in driving real-world on-chain execution. • Your primary responsibilities will include:
• Driving blockchain initiatives from their initial conceptualization through to successful production deployment, fostering a close partnership with engineering teams to ensure seamless execution and timely delivery.
• Crafting detailed and precise product specifications that are highly respected by engineers, encompassing smart contract logic, API definitions, user flows, and comprehensive edge case handling.
• Collaborating directly with our blockchain engineers on critical aspects of smart contract architecture, including design, upgrades, and intricate integrations with existing and new systems.
• Spearheading integrations with a diverse range of DeFi protocols, blockchain networks, Layer 2 scaling solutions, cross-chain bridges, secure custody providers, and other essential infrastructure partners.
• Representing Securitize as the technical product voice in external calls with partners and protocol teams, ensuring clear alignment on requirements, technical constraints, project timelines, and optimal integration pathways.
• Deeply analyzing and defining the complete token lifecycle and its associated mechanics, covering aspects such as issuance, transfer restrictions, compliance enforcement logic, distribution mechanisms, secure custody solutions, and efficient settlement processes.
• Proactively identifying emerging product opportunities within the rapidly evolving crypto ecosystem and translating these insights into actionable roadmap items.
• Playing a key role in defining the on-chain behavior of tokenized assets and establishing secure mechanisms for their integration with the composability of Decentralized Finance (DeFi), mitigating potential risks.
• Contributing to the strategic vision for how real-world assets are represented and managed on the blockchain, ensuring both innovation and regulatory compliance.
• Engaging in technical discussions with external teams to understand their systems and identify opportunities for seamless integration, ensuring Securitize remains at the cutting edge of blockchain technology.
• Participating in the continuous improvement of our product development processes, advocating for best practices in smart contract development and deployment.
• Staying abreast of the latest developments in the blockchain and DeFi space, identifying potential threats and opportunities for Securitize's product offerings.
• Ensuring that all product decisions are made with a strong emphasis on security, scalability, and user experience for both institutional and retail participants.
• Contributing to the technical due diligence process for potential partners and new blockchain protocols.
• Developing a deep understanding of the regulatory landscape surrounding tokenized assets and ensuring our products adhere to all relevant compliance requirements.
• Acting as a bridge between business needs and technical feasibility, translating complex requirements into clear, executable product plans.
• Championing a culture of innovation and continuous learning within the product and engineering teams, encouraging experimentation and knowledge sharing.
• Ensuring the robustness and reliability of our on-chain infrastructure through rigorous testing and validation processes.
• Contributing to the long-term product strategy, anticipating future market needs and technological advancements in the tokenization space.
• Collaborating with marketing and sales teams to articulate the technical value proposition of Securitize's products to a wider audience.
• Providing technical guidance and mentorship to junior product managers or team members as the team grows.
• Evaluating and recommending new technologies and tools that can enhance our product development capabilities and operational efficiency.
• Ensuring clear documentation of all product features, technical specifications, and integration guides.
• Facilitating productive discussions and decision-making processes, even in the face of technical ambiguity or conflicting priorities.
• Maintaining a high level of technical expertise in blockchain, smart contracts, and DeFi protocols, serving as a subject matter expert within the company.
• Proactively identifying and mitigating technical risks associated with new product launches and integrations.
• Contributing to the overall technical roadmap and architectural decisions for Securitize's blockchain platform.
• Ensuring that our products are designed with a focus on decentralization, security, and censorship resistance.
• Working closely with legal and compliance teams to ensure all product features meet regulatory requirements globally.
• Driving the adoption of best practices in smart contract development, including security audits and formal verification where applicable.
• Developing a deep understanding of different blockchain ecosystems and their unique characteristics, including their consensus mechanisms, transaction fees, and developer tooling.
• Contributing to the design and implementation of robust error handling and monitoring systems for our on-chain products.
• Ensuring that our product offerings are competitive and differentiated in the rapidly evolving tokenization market.
• Fostering strong relationships with external blockchain communities and developer ecosystems.
• Championing the principles of decentralized finance and their application to real-world assets.
• Continuously seeking feedback from users and stakeholders to iterate and improve our product offerings.
• Making data-driven decisions by analyzing on-chain metrics and user behavior.
• Ensuring that our products are accessible and user-friendly for a diverse range of participants.
• Contributing to the development of internal tools and processes that streamline product development and deployment.
• Staying ahead of the curve on emerging trends in blockchain technology, such as zero-knowledge proofs, cross-chain interoperability, and decentralized identity.
• Ensuring that our products are built with a strong emphasis on auditability and transparency.
• Collaborating with the security team to implement and maintain best-in-class security practices for our smart contracts and infrastructure.
• Driving the product vision for how tokenized assets can be seamlessly integrated into existing financial workflows and new DeFi applications.
• Ensuring that our product roadmap is aligned with Securitize's overall business strategy and market opportunities.
• Leading the charge in defining the future of on-chain finance and real-world asset tokenization.

🎯 Requirements

• Proven technical aptitude and ability to reason about complex systems akin to an engineer.
• Strong understanding of how smart contracts function, with a preference for the ability to read Solidity code.
• Fluency in core crypto concepts, including ERC-20, ERC-721, ERC-1155 token standards, wallet flows, signing mechanisms, custody models, gas mechanics, transaction lifecycle, confirmation processes, re-organization edge cases, and on-chain permissions/access control patterns.
• Conceptual understanding of DeFi mechanics such as Automated Market Makers (AMMs), lending markets, vaults, staking, governance, and the risks associated with composability and integration.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, characterized by clarity, speed, and confidence.
• Demonstrated ability to lead technical calls with protocol teams and effectively navigate complex discussions.
• Strong ownership instincts, with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving gaps.
