- • As a Security Analyst II at Garner Health, you will play a critical role in safeguarding the company’s applications and infrastructure by identifying and mitigating security risks across the environment, ensuring the protection of member data and maintaining a robust security posture in a fast-growing healthcare technology company.
- • Day to day, you will independently manage security operations including threat monitoring and incident triage, analyze system logs and alerts using Wiz and Datadog, leverage LLMs like Claude to automate security data analytics, navigate Kubernetes clusters and distributed data sources using SQL and Boolean logic, build security controls in AWS using Python, Go, or TypeScript, communicate technical findings to engineering and product teams with actionable remediation steps, own compliance tasks and documentation, and identify opportunities to automate manual security checks.
- • You will join Garner’s Security team, part of a mission-driven organization headquartered in NYC but operating with remote flexibility, dedicated to transforming the healthcare economy by guiding employees to higher-quality, lower-cost care through data-driven incentives and partnerships with employers and providers.
- • In this role, you will deepen your expertise in cloud security, incident response, and automation, gain hands-on experience with cutting-edge observability and security tools (Wiz, Datadog, Claude, AWS, Kubernetes), strengthen your ability to analyze large-scale data using SQL and LLMs, and contribute to building a proactive security engineering culture while advancing your impact in a high-growth healthcare tech environment.
