Security Engineer

📋 Description

• • As a Security Engineer at Air Apps, you will safeguard applications, infrastructure, and data from threats and vulnerabilities by implementing secure coding practices, vulnerability scanning, and threat modeling to ensure system resilience against cyber threats.
• • You will work closely with development, DevOps, and IT teams to build and maintain a secure development lifecycle (SDLC), security monitoring frameworks, and proactive risk mitigation strategies, including conducting vulnerability assessments, enforcing secure coding, integrating security into CI/CD pipelines, monitoring and responding to security incidents, ensuring compliance with standards like ISO 27001 and GDPR, designing IAM and encryption policies, collaborating on security reviews for features and APIs, developing incident response plans, and staying ahead of emerging threats.
• • You will join a family-founded, self-funded company with offices in Lisbon and San Francisco, mission-driven to create the world’s first AI-powered Personal & Entrepreneurial Resource Planner (PRP), serving over 100 million users globally, where you’ll collaborate in a dynamic, fast-paced, fully onsite environment in Lisbon with opportunities for relocation support.
