  • • Join Writer Inc.'s security team as a Staff Detection and Response Engineer to protect AI infrastructure, training data, and model deployments from evolving threats targeting cutting-edge AI/AGI systems.
  • • Design and implement detection strategies for AI-specific threats like prompt injection and model extraction, build automated response playbooks, lead incident response coordination, conduct threat hunting across GPU clusters, and maintain 24/7 on-call rotation for critical AI security incidents.
  • • Collaborate with AI Security research, Cloud Infrastructure, Software Security Engineering, and AI researchers to build defense-in-depth strategies for one of the industry's most valuable AI platforms.
  • • Develop expertise in securing AI/ML infrastructure, operationalize security at scale, translate threat research into production detections, and define AI security engineering practices in a high-growth, intellectually challenging environment.

🎯 Requirements

  • • 3-5+ years in security operations, detection engineering, or incident response with experience securing AI/ML infrastructure, high-performance computing, or distributed systems at scale
  • • Strong programming skills in Python, KQL, SPL, or similar languages to build custom detection logic and automate response workflows
  • • Experience with SIEM platforms, detection technologies, and forensic investigation techniques for novel attack techniques in complex distributed environments
  • • Self-directed execution mindset with a track record of securing high-value intellectual property and proactive threat hunting
