Security Operations Specialist

📋 Description

• • As a Security Operations Specialist at Loopio Inc., you will play a key role in protecting the company’s systems, data, and users by ensuring effective security monitoring, detection, and response processes as the organization scales.
• • Day to day, you will monitor and investigate security events across network, platforms, and cloud environments; support security incident response through investigation, escalation, and follow-up; review authentication activity and access controls; maintain logging and monitoring controls; participate in BCP/DR testing; support GRC activities; collaborate with Engineering and Product on secure software development; and work cross-functionally to support security operations and customer trust initiatives.
• • You will join Loopio’s growing Information Security Team in a remote-first workplace with hubs in Toronto, London, and India, collaborating virtually across global teams while having access to co-working spaces in Downtown Toronto and Vancouver for occasional team gatherings.
• • In this role, you will develop expertise in security operations, incident response, and compliance frameworks like SOC 2 and ISO 27001, while strengthening your ability to communicate security concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders and contribute to business outcomes in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
