  • • As a Senior Account Manager (German speaking) at Upvest, you will take full ownership of the strategic growth and long-term success of the company’s most prestigious enterprise and fintech partners across Germany and Europe, acting as the architect of long-term partnerships and ensuring clients unlock the full potential of Upvest’s Investment API.
  • • You will develop and own strategic success plans for priority clients, drive commercial growth through upselling and cross-selling, navigate complex organizational structures to influence C-level stakeholders, act as a strategic advisor on client business needs, manage high-stakes negotiations and contract renewals, and collaborate with Product and Growth teams to relay market feedback and shape product roadmap alignment.
  • • You will join the Client Impact department’s Account Management team, working alongside high-performing experts and collaborating closely with Product, Engineering, Growth, Legal, and Compliance stakeholders in a mission-driven environment focused on democratizing investment infrastructure through cutting-edge API technology.
  • • In this role, you will deepen your expertise in strategic account management within regulated financial environments, strengthen your ability to translate technical API capabilities into business value, lead high-value client relationships with autonomy and accountability, and contribute to Upvest’s growth as a shareholder while shaping the future of investing in Europe.

🎯 Requirements

  • • 6+ years of experience in strategic account management or relationship management within Fintech, Investment Banking, or B2B SaaS, ideally with large-scale enterprise clients
  • • Proven track record of crafting and executing long-term account strategies in deeply complex, regulated environments
  • • Professional proficiency in both German and English, with native or near-native German essential for this role
  • • Strong commercial mindset with experience driving revenue growth, managing high-value accounts, and leading complex contract negotiations
  • • Excellent communication and storytelling skills, with the ability to translate technical API concepts into clear business impact
  • • Solid understanding of the investment industry, current trends, and competitive landscapes
