• Plaud Inc. is seeking a dedicated Senior Account Specialist with a focus on Accounts Payable to join our dynamic team in Singapore. • In this role, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of expense accounting. This includes the meticulous preparation and posting of expense journal entries (JE) within our ERP system, ensuring they accurately reconcile with overseas bank statements. You will also be tasked with reviewing expense JEs that are automatically generated from our OE system, verifying their accuracy and adherence to accounting principles. A key aspect of your daily duties will involve ensuring the correctness of accounting treatments for expenses, prepayments, accounts payable, and accruals, maintaining the integrity of our financial records.
• You will perform comprehensive multi-currency bank reconciliations, diligently tying bank activity to the General Ledger (GL) and expense systems to guarantee the completeness and accuracy of all postings. Furthermore, you will provide essential support for expense workflows and integrations across Feishu (for non-US operations) and Bill.com (for US operations), maintaining clean and audit-ready documentation for all processes. This ensures transparency and compliance in our financial reporting.
• A significant part of your contribution will be assisting with the month-end close process, specifically for expense-related accounts. This involves preparing reconciliations, generating necessary schedules, following up on variances, and coordinating effectively with cross-functional teams across different regions and sales platforms. Your proactive engagement will be critical in ensuring timely and accurate financial closing.

🎯 Requirements

• 1 to 2 years of experience in expense accounting, AP and accounting operations, or a similar role in a fast-paced high-tech business environment.
• Working knowledge of expense accounting treatments: expense, prepayment, accounts payable, and accruals.
• Experience preparing and posting journal entries in an integrated ERP and supporting bank reconciliations. Experience with SAP or Oracle is preferable.
• Comfortable working with cross-regional teams and using English as a working language.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance.
• Able to work resiliently and outstanding problem-solving skills.
