- • Assist with the monthly financial close process by ensuring all costs are accurately recorded, preparing journal entries, and maintaining the general ledger.
- • Conduct reconciliations of account balances and prepare ad-hoc financial reports for internal stakeholders.
- • Manage cash flow, credit card expenditures, accounts payable (AP), and accounts receivable (AR).
- • Support payroll processing and other general administrative tasks as needed.
- • Analyze and synthesize financial data in collaboration with business units to support decision-making.
- • Compile documentation for tax returns, financial statement audits, and sales tax filings.
- • Organize and track compliance with vendor and customer contracts.
- • Contribute to the improvement of expense approval workflows and company-wide financial policies.
- • Document and maintain accounting policies and procedures to ensure regulatory compliance and financial integrity.
- • Assist in developing and implementing new procedures to enhance departmental efficiency and workflow.
- • Support special projects involving detailed financial analysis, cost breakdowns, and operational reporting.
- • Demonstrate proactive initiative by identifying process improvements and bringing innovative solutions to the finance team.
- • Maintain a data-driven approach to measuring and enhancing the accuracy and impact of financial reporting.
- • Exhibit strong attention to detail, ensuring precision in all accounting records and financial outputs.
- • Apply a critical lens to continuously evaluate and refine internal controls and financial processes.
- • Effectively multitask across multiple financial functions including reconciliation, reporting, compliance, and administrative support.
🎯 Requirements
- • Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting
- • 3-5 years of experience in internal accounting or finance, with public accounting preferred
- • Excellent time management, communication skills, and attention to detail
- • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
- • Knowledge of GAAP accounting standards; familiarity with the SaaS industry is a plus
