- • The Senior Accountant role at Amerilife Group, LLC is critical to ensuring accurate financial reporting and compliance with GAAP, directly supporting the company’s mission to deliver consistent value to clients and employees through reliable financial operations.
- • Day-to-day responsibilities include preparing and reviewing journal entries, reconciling general ledger accounts, mentoring junior team members, coordinating accounting workflows, developing and refining internal controls, preparing complex financial analyses, and ensuring timely submission of regulatory and management reports.

- • In this role, you will deepen your expertise in GAAP and regulatory reporting, build leadership experience through mentoring and process coordination, and gain exposure to complex financial systems and economic modeling—positioning you for advancement into senior finance or accounting leadership roles.
🎯 Requirements
- • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or business administration or equivalent education and related training
- • Three years of relevant accounting experience
- • Demonstrated proficiency in computer applications, including Microsoft Office with emphasis on spreadsheets, word processing, and database software
- • Working knowledge of GAAP
- • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
- • Ability to work independently to meet deadlines and collaborate effectively within a team
