  • • As a Senior Accountant at Bullhorn, Inc., you will play a critical role in supporting the Finance team’s mission to deliver accurate, timely financial reporting and drive process improvements that uphold the company’s commitment to operational excellence and integrity. Reporting to the Finance Accounting Manager, you will contribute directly to the integrity of financial data, support audit readiness, and help scale financial operations in alignment with Bullhorn’s core values of Ownership, Energy, Speed & Agility, Service, and Being Human.
  • • Your day-to-day responsibilities will include assisting in the monthly close process by preparing and reviewing Balance Sheet reconciliations, creating and posting journal entries for complex or judgmental accounting areas, and ensuring all financial records are accurate and compliant with GAAP. You will also assist in year-end audit preparations by gathering documentation, responding to auditor requests, and maintaining audit trails. Additionally, you will help establish, document, and continuously improve financial processes, workflows, and internal controls, while building strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners through clear, proactive communication.
  • • You will support management in developing strategic financial plans and objectives, ensuring compliance with regulatory and reporting requirements, and contributing to cross-functional initiatives that enhance financial transparency and decision-making. This role emphasizes both technical accounting proficiency and collaborative problem-solving, offering you the opportunity to take ownership of end-to-end accounting functions while learning from experienced finance professionals.

🎯 Requirements

  • • 2+ years of accounting or finance experience, with public accounting experience strongly preferred
  • • Strong working knowledge of accounting standards (GAAP), detail-oriented mindset, and proven analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to meet deadlines
  • • Outstanding communication and presentation skills, with comfort interacting professionally with clients and colleagues at all levels
  • • Proven ability to work both independently and collaboratively across teams and organizational levels
  • • Solid working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or equivalent; CPA certification is a plus
