📋 Description
- • Prepare and thoroughly review complex individual, corporate, partnership, and trust tax returns with strict adherence to U.S. tax regulations.
- • Maintain and evaluate financial statements, general ledgers, and accounting processes across multiple client engagements simultaneously.
- • Serve as the primary advisory contact for clients, delivering financial reports, responding to inquiries, and managing multi-client projects under tight deadlines.
- • Supervise, mentor, and review the work of junior accounting staff to ensure accuracy, compliance, and professional development.
- • Drive team efficiency and quality control by implementing standardized review protocols and performance feedback mechanisms.
- • Leverage QuickBooks and advanced tax preparation platforms to maintain audit-ready financial ecosystems and streamline reporting workflows.
- • Ensure all tax filings and financial documentation meet regulatory standards and are completed within prescribed deadlines.
- • Collaborate with clients to understand their financial structures and provide tailored tax planning insights.
- • Manage client relationships with professionalism, responsiveness, and a consultative approach to financial advisory.
- • Identify opportunities to improve internal accounting processes and implement software-based solutions for enhanced accuracy and efficiency.
- • Conduct detailed reconciliations and analyses of financial data to support tax compliance and reporting obligations.
- • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of evolving U.S. tax laws and regulatory changes affecting individual, corporate, partnership, and trust entities.
- • Communicate complex tax and financial information clearly to clients and team members in both English and Spanish.
- • Coordinate with internal teams to ensure seamless delivery of accounting services across diverse client portfolios.
- • Document all client interactions, tax strategies, and compliance actions in accordance with firm protocols and audit requirements.
- • Participate in continuous training and professional development to maintain expertise in tax law and accounting best practices.
🎯 Requirements
- • 5 to 8 years of solid background in public accounting, corporate tax preparation, and client-facing advisory roles
- • Proven ability or strong potential to manage, train, and audit the output of junior accounting professionals
- • Solid, comprehensive knowledge of diverse U.S. tax structures (Individual, Corporate, Partnership, and Trusts)
- • Proficient with QuickBooks and standard tax preparation systems
- • Advanced English proficiency (C1 level) paired with fluent Spanish for seamless international client communication
