📋 Description

• Own and execute the full accounting cycle across multiple legal entities and operating companies in a fast-paced, high-growth consumer lending lead generation business.
• Manage end-to-end weekly invoicing for lender buyers and oversee accounts receivable, including aging analysis and active collections.
• Oversee weekly payments to vendors, publishers, and partners, ensuring timely and accurate disbursements across all entities.
• Maintain accurate financial records strictly in accordance with U.S. GAAP standards.
• Lead month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring timely delivery of financial statements and management reporting packages to the Founder & CEO.
• Build, maintain, and update financial models, forecasts, budgets, and cash flow projections to support strategic decision-making.
• Deliver KPI dashboards and unit-economics analysis segmented by buyer, publisher, and product line to drive operational insights.
• Reconcile all bank accounts, credit cards, and payment processors on a regular basis to ensure ledger accuracy.
• Partner with Compliance to support SOC2 readiness, strengthen internal financial controls, and prepare for audits.
• Coordinate with external accountants, tax advisors, and auditors to ensure regulatory compliance and accurate reporting.
• Identify manual processes within the accounting stack and implement automation solutions to improve efficiency and reduce errors.
• Assist with finance and accounting setup for newly launched business lines and entities, including entity formation and bookkeeping structure.
• Serve as the primary finance operational partner to the Founder & CEO, providing real-time financial insights and recommendations.
• Help establish and scale finance operations within Latin America, including building local processes and potentially leading a future LATAM finance team.
• Ensure all financial reporting meets the needs of U.S.-based stakeholders while operating remotely from Latin America.
• Maintain clear documentation of all accounting procedures, workflows, and control frameworks to support scalability and audit readiness.
• Deliver timely, accurate, and actionable financial reporting on a weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis.
• Drive continuous improvement in financial workflows by leveraging technology and process optimization.
• Support the company’s expansion into new markets by adapting financial systems to accommodate new business lines and legal structures.
• Act as the central point of contact for all finance-related inquiries from internal teams and external partners.
• Maintain strict confidentiality and integrity in handling sensitive financial data across a high-volume, high-transaction environment.

🎯 Requirements

• 4+ years of progressive accounting, finance, or controllership experience
• Experience supporting U.S.-based companies and U.S. accounting practices
• Strong, hands-on knowledge of U.S. GAAP
• Deep QuickBooks Online experience — this is the primary accounting system
• Experience in SaaS, fintech, marketplace, lending, or recurring-revenue business models
• Proven experience managing high-volume invoicing and payment operations
