📋 Description
- • Senior Accountant responsible for managing financial accounting operations in the music merchandise industry, ensuring accurate bookkeeping and compliance across European markets.
- • Day-to-day tasks include independent management of accounts receivable and payable, invoice review, payment processing, accounts receivable management, preparation of VAT returns across European countries, collaboration on monthly and annual financial statements under HGB, and monthly reporting to the US parent company.
- • Part of Kings Road Merch GmbH, an independent German subsidiary of Sony Music Entertainment, providing full-service merchandise solutions including production, logistics, tour support, and customized online shops for artists across Europe.
- • Opportunity to deepen expertise in international accounting standards (HGB and IFRS), gain experience with NetSuite ERP, and develop professional skills in a global music industry environment with flat hierarchies and clear career progression.
🎯 Requirements
- • Completed commercial training, ideally as a tax clerk or financial accountant
- • Several years of experience in financial accounting
- • Confidence in financial accounting according to HGB (German Commercial Code)
- • Openness to reporting in accordance with IFRS
- • Experience with NetSuite or willingness to learn the system
- • Good English language skills
