- • Perform daily accounting monitoring and P&L analysis for designated legal entities within Interactive Brokers Group.
- • Execute month-end close procedures including journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial statement reviews for assigned entities.
- • Analyze monthly financial results and prepare detailed reports for Senior Management to support decision-making.
- • Lead the preparation of annual audited financial statements and coordinate directly with external auditors to ensure compliance and accuracy.
- • Identify, evaluate, and implement accounting treatments for new accounting standards and emerging business initiatives.
- • Collaborate with technology teams to improve, automate, and enhance accounting controls and financial processes.
- • Maintain accurate and timely financial records for multiple legal entities under the Group’s structure.
- • Ensure adherence to internal controls and regulatory requirements across all assigned accounting functions.
- • Provide financial insights and recommendations based on data analysis to support operational efficiency and compliance.
- • Support cross-functional teams with accounting-related inquiries and documentation for audits and internal reviews.
- • Maintain high standards of accuracy and detail in all financial reporting and documentation tasks.
- • Adapt quickly to changing accounting requirements and business priorities within a fast-paced, global financial environment.
- • Work in a hybrid model with four days per week in the Greenwich, CT office and one day remotely.
- • Report directly to the Director of Accounting with accountability for deliverables on a six-month temporary assignment.
🎯 Requirements
- • Minimum five years of working experience in accounting
- • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
- • Proficiency in MS-Excel
- • High attention to detail
