📋 Description

  • As Levelpath embarks on its next phase of significant growth, we are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Accounting Manager to establish and lead our foundational accounting function. This is a critical, first-of-its-kind role for our organization, offering the unique opportunity to build a scalable finance infrastructure from the ground up. You will be instrumental in shaping our financial processes, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency as we expand our customer base, implement a new ERP system, and prepare for increased reporting and compliance demands. This role is perfect for a proactive, detail-oriented accounting professional who thrives in dynamic, fast-paced environments and is eager to make a tangible impact.
  • In this pivotal position, you will assume broad ownership and enjoy significant autonomy over day-to-day accounting operations. Your responsibilities will span the entire accounting lifecycle, from meticulous month-end and year-end close processes to the strategic development and implementation of robust internal controls and accounting policies. A key initiative will be leading the selection and implementation of a new ERP system, where you will design and architect scalable financial workflows that will support our future growth.
  • You will be the primary owner of our revenue recognition policies, ensuring strict adherence to ASC 606 standards, a critical aspect for our SaaS business model. This includes developing, documenting, and maintaining these policies to reflect our evolving business practices and contractual arrangements. Furthermore, you will manage all core accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll processing, and general ledger management, ensuring the integrity and accuracy of our financial data.
  • A significant part of your role will involve end-to-end audit management. You will be responsible for preparing for and facilitating financial audits, ensuring clean audited financials, and managing timely tax filings. This requires meticulous record-keeping, strong documentation practices, and the ability to effectively communicate with external auditors and tax advisors.
  • Collaboration is key to success in this role. You will partner closely with the FP&A team and executive leadership to deliver comprehensive financial reporting and insightful analysis. This information will be crucial for informing strategic decision-making across the organization. You will also work cross-functionally with Legal, Operations, and other departments to ensure our financial infrastructure seamlessly supports our business objectives and sustainable growth.
  • As Levelpath scales, you will have the opportunity to build and develop the accounting team. This includes identifying talent, hiring skilled professionals, and fostering a culture of continuous learning and high performance within the accounting department. Your leadership will be essential in creating a cohesive and effective team that can meet the growing demands of the business.
  • Success in this role will be measured by the accuracy and timeliness of our financial reporting, the successful implementation of our new ERP system, the strength and scalability of our internal controls, and the clear visibility provided into the company's financial performance. Ultimately, you will design and implement processes that enable Levelpath to maintain financial discipline while continuing to move at a rapid pace.
  • This role demands a strategic thinker with a hands-on approach. You should be comfortable diving deep into complex accounting issues, developing practical solutions, and driving their implementation. Your ability to prioritize effectively in a fast-moving environment, coupled with strong judgment and meticulous attention to detail, will be paramount. You will be the go-to expert for all accounting matters, providing guidance and ensuring the highest standards of financial integrity.
  • You will play a crucial role in shaping the financial narrative of Levelpath, contributing directly to our ability to secure future funding, attract top talent, and build trust with our investors and customers. Your work will directly impact our ability to achieve our ambitious growth targets and solidify our position as a leader in the AI procurement platform space.
