- • As a Senior Affiliates Manager at Back Market, you will own and scale one of the company’s most critical performance marketing channels, directly contributing to the growth of circular commerce by expanding trusted affiliate partnerships that drive sustainable consumer behavior and reduce electronic waste.
- • You will define and execute the affiliate strategy end-to-end, aligning partner initiatives with broader growth objectives while ensuring measurement integrity, operational excellence, and cross-channel coordination to maximize ROI and minimize cannibalization.
- • You will work within Back Market’s Growth Marketing team, collaborating with analytical marketers, data specialists, legal, finance, and product teams to build scalable systems that support profitable, measurable affiliate performance across multiple markets.
- • You will develop deep expertise in performance marketing attribution, partner ecosystem development, and cross-channel optimization, gaining leadership experience in a mission-driven, fast-paced environment focused on environmental impact and sustainable tech consumption.
- • Define affiliate strategy - Set priorities, build roadmaps, and make decisions on trade-offs and dependencies aligned with growth objectives, ensuring affiliate efforts complement paid, owned, and earned media channels.
- • Build measurement frameworks - Lead performance measurement in a multi-channel environment, managing overlap with Paid Search, SEO, CRM, and Influencer channels through attribution modeling, incremental testing, and smart commission policies to isolate true affiliate-driven value.
- • Develop partner ecosystems - Recruit and grow networks, cashback platforms, comparison sites, and content publishers; negotiate partnerships, defend brand presence, and optimize placement where consumer intent is highest.
- • Deploy marketing operations - Coordinate campaigns, promotions, and messaging across the affiliate network while ensuring brand, legal, and tracking compliance, including UTM governance and pixel implementation.
- • Ensure operational excellence - Manage tracking setup, partner onboarding, commission structures, and governance in close collaboration with Legal, Finance, and Data teams to maintain accuracy and audit readiness.
- • Create scalable playbooks - Build onboarding guides, tracking checklists, commission frameworks, and business review templates that enable consistency and speed as the program scales globally.
- • Drive analytics and optimization - Turn insights into action by establishing regular reporting, forecasting performance, and identifying levers for incremental growth through A/B tests and commission tier adjustments.
- • Manage senior stakeholders - Create executive memos, 1-pagers, and Business Reviews with clear recommendations, measurable outcomes, and visual storytelling to influence strategy and secure buy-in.
🎯 Requirements
- • 5+ years of experience in affiliate, partner, or performance marketing, or equivalent experience owning growth programs in complex, multi-stakeholder environments.
- • Proven expertise in measurement and overlap management, including designing tests, resolving channel cannibalization, and implementing pragmatic rules for cross-channel alignment.
- • Deep fluency in affiliate ecosystem components: networks, tracking platforms (e.g., Impact, Partnerize, CJ), commission models (CPA, CPL, revenue share), and attribution methodologies.
- • Strong analytical skills with the ability to audit performance, interpret trends, conduct incremental analysis, and translate data into strategic decisions and optimization recommendations.
- • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with a track record of building trusted partnerships, aligning commercial interests, and crafting executive-level narratives for stakeholders.
- • High ownership mindset: proactive in identifying blockers, prioritizing impact over activity, and driving pragmatic solutions in fast-moving environments.
🏖️ Benefits
- • Mission-driven work where your daily contributions directly reduce electronic waste and carbon emissions by promoting refurbished tech — each sale avoids approximately 92% of the carbon footprint of new devices.
- • Hybrid work model: 2 remote days per week, 1 fully remote week per quarter, and 3 annual flex days to support work-life balance and autonomy.
- • Access to Employee Resource Groups (ERGs), mentorship programs, comprehensive accessibility policies, and cultural competency training, reinforcing Back Market’s B Corp-certified commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion.
