📋 Description

• As a Senior AI Engineer at Socure, you will help build the future of trust for digital ecosystems by designing and shipping agentic workflows and internal productivity tools that power innovation across the company. You will play a central role in transforming Socure into an AI-native company by delivering intelligent automation that drives step-function gains in efficiency, accuracy, and decision-making across enterprise teams.
• Day to day, you will prioritize high-impact automation by partnering with business teams to catalog and rank manual workflows; design and develop production-grade agent systems using planner–executor and reflection-based architectures; integrate with Socure’s Agentic AI Foundations platform; innovate using LLMs and multi-agent frameworks; discover and contribute reusable agent design patterns; and ensure operational excellence through performance evaluation and optimization.
• You will join a new Internal AI Engineering team reporting to the Head of New Product Engineering, working closely with sales, marketing, revenue ops, finance, talent, and legal teams to reshape how Socure operates. This is a high-impact, owner-minded role where you define what to build, not just execute scoped tasks, and directly influence the roadmap of Socure’s Agentic AI Foundations platform.
• In this role, you will achieve technical leadership by shipping real-world agentic systems that solve complex business problems, deepen your expertise in LLM-powered applications and agentic frameworks, and contribute to industry-leading internal AI systems that set new standards for secure, compliant, and intelligent automation in a regulated fintech environment.

🎯 Requirements

• 8+ years of software engineering experience, with at least 2 years focused on AI/ML systems or LLM-powered applications in production
• Deep hands-on experience with LLM APIs and at least one agentic framework (e.g. LangGraph, CrewAI or AutoGen)
• Strong Python skills and experience building production-grade backend services, APIs, and data pipelines
• Proven ability to operate in ambiguity: you've walked into an undefined problem space, figured out what to build, built it, and measured the results
• Experience shipping AI/automation solutions that directly impacted business operations
• Strong systems thinking: you design for reliability, observability, and maintainability from day one, not as an afterthought
• Ability to collaborate directly with non-technical business stakeholders to understand their actual workflows and translate those into technical solutions
