• • Explore emerging generative AI models and techniques to identify novel applications for visual media at scale, including diffusion models, transformers, and multimodal architectures.
• • Train, fine-tune, and adapt state-of-the-art AI models using large-scale visual datasets derived from real-world customer usage patterns and Cloudinary’s media infrastructure.
• • Translate research prototypes into scalable, production-ready AI capabilities that integrate seamlessly with Cloudinary’s global media delivery platform serving millions of users daily.
• • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including AI engineers, product managers, and software developers to align research goals with product roadmaps and customer needs.
• • Identify high-impact opportunities where AI can create unique competitive differentiators for Cloudinary’s media management platform.
• • Evaluate model performance using quantitative metrics and qualitative user feedback to ensure AI solutions deliver measurable value and reliability in production environments.
• • Stay current with advancements in computer vision, generative AI, and media processing research, contributing to internal knowledge sharing and external publications or conferences when appropriate.
• • Design experiments to validate hypotheses around model efficiency, bias mitigation, and content quality in diverse visual media contexts.
• • Contribute to the strategic direction of Cloudinary’s AI research agenda by proposing new research directions aligned with market trends and technological breakthroughs.
• • Ensure ethical considerations and responsible AI practices are embedded in model development, including data privacy, content authenticity, and fairness in automated media processing.
• • Document research methodologies, model architectures, and implementation details to enable reproducibility and team-wide knowledge transfer.
• • Participate in peer reviews of research proposals and technical designs within the AI Research Group to maintain high standards of innovation and rigor.
• • Work with infrastructure teams to optimize model inference pipelines for low-latency, high-throughput media processing across global CDN networks.
• • Leverage Cloudinary’s unique dataset of billions of images and videos to train models that generalize across diverse content types, geographies, and usage scenarios.
• • Present research findings to technical and non-technical stakeholders to drive alignment and adoption of AI-powered features across product lines.
