- • As a Senior Analyst, Customer Trust at Notion Labs, Inc., you will play a pivotal role in safeguarding and enhancing the trust millions of users place in our platform. This position is critical to ensuring Notion's commitment to a secure, consistent, and trustworthy user experience, which is paramount to our continued growth and success.
- • You will be the frontline of our customer trust initiatives, directly engaging with prospective and existing customers to address their security-related inquiries. This involves meticulously handling customer security questionnaires, responding to one-off inquiries, participating in calls, and providing comprehensive documentation requests.
- • A key aspect of your role will be to support complex contract reviews that require a deep understanding of security principles and best practices. You will be responsible for assessing these contracts from a security perspective, identifying potential risks, and escalating issues appropriately to relevant internal teams, ensuring that Notion's security posture is maintained and strengthened.
- • You will foster strong cross-functional collaboration, working closely with the Sales team to optimize the deal cycle from a security standpoint. Your insights and support will enable the Sales team to navigate security-related discussions with prospects effectively, accelerating deal closures while upholding our security standards.
- • Collaboration extends to other critical internal teams, including Security GRC (Governance, Risk, and Compliance), Security Engineering, and Legal. Together, you will work to develop robust trust artifacts, create compelling security content, and establish scalable response frameworks that can be efficiently deployed across various customer interactions.
- • You will be the steward of our customer trust tool, ensuring its knowledge base is consistently updated with the latest security information, policies, and procedures. This centralized repository will serve as a vital resource for both internal teams and external stakeholders.
- • Furthermore, you will actively assist in the collection of audit evidence for our customer and compliance audits. This includes preparing and gathering documentation for rigorous assessments such as SOC 2 Type II, ISO 27001, and BSI C5, demonstrating our adherence to industry-leading security standards.
- • Your responsibilities will also encompass establishing and refining team operating rhythms, developing key metrics for reporting, defining Service Level Agreements (SLAs), and implementing effective escalation frameworks to ensure timely and efficient resolution of customer trust-related matters.
- • You will leverage your strong familiarity with common cloud architectures, such as AWS or similar platforms, to understand how they map to security controls and audit evidence, providing a solid foundation for your security assessments.
- • A significant part of your contribution will involve interpreting and operationalizing regulatory or customer requirements, particularly those from demanding sectors like financial services, public sector, or large enterprise clients, ensuring Notion meets diverse and stringent compliance needs.
- • You will be adept at synthesizing complex technical and legal concepts into clear, concise, and accessible explanations, effectively communicating these to non-technical stakeholders, thereby bridging the gap between intricate security details and business objectives.
- • This role offers a unique opportunity to shape Notion's customer trust program, directly impacting user confidence and contributing to the company's reputation as a secure and reliable platform. You will be instrumental in building and maintaining the foundational elements of trust that allow our users to build their best work on Notion.
