- • As a Senior Analyst, GTM Analytics at Vanta, you will be instrumental in driving the strategic direction and performance optimization of our go-to-market (GTM) organization. Your primary focus will be on supporting and enhancing the effectiveness of our Overlay teams, which include Channel, Specialty Sales, Sales Engineering, and Value Engineering. This role is critical for translating complex data into clear, actionable insights that empower leaders to make informed decisions, prioritize investments, and ultimately improve revenue outcomes.
- • You will act as a trusted analytical partner, leveraging structured analysis and strong business judgment to dissect performance drivers, identify potential risks, and uncover growth opportunities within our intricate sales motions. Your contributions will directly shape how GTM performance is measured and understood across the company.
- • A significant aspect of your role will involve building and maintaining scalable reporting solutions and self-service tools. These tools will not only enable first-level performance inspection for various stakeholders but will also ensure the integrity and consistency of key metrics. This proactive approach to data accessibility and reliability is fundamental to Vanta's data-driven culture.
- • You will be responsible for developing sophisticated forecasting models, conducting propensity analyses, and creating prioritization frameworks. These analytical tools are essential for enhancing revenue predictability, optimizing resource allocation, and ensuring that our GTM efforts are aligned with strategic objectives.
- • A key objective will be to automate and standardize the deliverables for operating reviews. By reducing manual effort and improving consistency, you will free up valuable time for the team to focus on higher-level strategic analysis and decision-making, thereby increasing overall operational efficiency.
- • Collaboration will be a cornerstone of your work. You will work closely with Data Engineering to enhance our GTM datasets, refine metric definitions, and strengthen the underlying reporting infrastructure. This cross-functional partnership is vital for ensuring data accuracy, completeness, and usability across the organization.
- • You will partner directly with leaders in Sales, Overlay functions (Channel, Specialty Sales, Sales Engineering, Value Engineering), Finance, and Revenue Operations (RevOps) to collaboratively define success metrics and provide analytical support for critical strategic decisions. This involves understanding their unique challenges and translating them into data-driven solutions.
- • Your analysis of GTM performance will go beyond surface-level metrics, delving into the root causes of productivity, identifying emerging risks, and pinpointing untapped growth opportunities within our diverse and complex sales motions.
- • You will be expected to proactively identify areas for improvement in our data infrastructure and analytical processes, contributing to the continuous evolution of our GTM analytics capabilities.
- • The role demands a blend of deep analytical expertise and strong interpersonal skills, enabling you to effectively communicate complex findings to a wide range of audiences, from executive leadership to technical teams.
- • You will play a pivotal role in fostering a data-informed culture within the GTM organization, empowering teams with the insights they need to excel.
- • Embracing new technologies, including AI, will be encouraged to amplify your skills and enhance the impact of your work. Demonstrating curiosity, a proactive learning mindset, and sound judgment in applying AI responsibly will be key to success in this dynamic role.
