- • The Senior Analyst, Member Care Workforce Planning & Analytics role is critical to Centivo’s mission of delivering affordable, high-quality healthcare by transforming complex healthcare data into actionable insights that improve health outcomes and reduce costs for employers and members.
- • This position ensures data-driven decision-making across the organization by owning the full lifecycle of reporting and analytics—from requirements gathering to deployment and maintenance—directly supporting workforce planning and member care optimization.
- • Day to day, the analyst will partner with business stakeholders and subject matter experts to gather, document, and validate requirements, translating them into technical specifications, KPIs, and user outcomes.
- • They will design end-to-end analytics solutions, including scalable data models, metric definitions, and intuitive dashboard layouts that effectively visualize trends and support strategic planning.
- • Development responsibilities include building reports, dashboards, and analytical datasets using optimized SQL and approved BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI), ensuring data lineage and calculation logic are accurate and consistent.
- • The role involves rigorous testing through data validation and user acceptance testing (UAT) to verify metric accuracy, source-to-target integrity, and dashboard functionality prior to release.
- • They will manage the release process for new analytics assets, coordinating stakeholder communication, access controls, training, and timely delivery.
- • Ongoing maintenance includes monitoring reporting assets, troubleshooting issues, conducting root cause analysis, and implementing technology or process fixes to ensure reliability and performance.
- • The analyst will continuously enhance existing capabilities by incorporating stakeholder feedback, evolving business needs, and new data sources to expand analytical value.
- • They will provide training and documentation to empower end users to self-serve and interpret reports effectively.
- • Ad-hoc analysis is a key function, delivering rapid queries and insights to address urgent business needs.
- • Trend analysis and re-forecasting are performed regularly to inform staffing plans and adjust strategies to meet service level goals.
- • Process optimization efforts focus on identifying inefficiencies through data and root cause analysis, recommending changes that improve SLAs and reduce manual effort via automation.
- • Participation in special projects and transformation initiatives is expected, contributing to Centivo’s innovation in healthcare delivery.
- • The analyst will work within a mission-driven team committed to resilience, positivity, and uncommon innovation in healthcare, operating in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
- • In this role, the individual will deepen expertise in healthcare data analytics, strengthen leadership in cross-functional collaboration, and gain experience influencing operational and strategic decisions through data—positioning them for growth in healthcare BI and workforce analytics leadership.
🎯 Requirements
- • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Data Analytics, or a related field
- • 5+ years of experience developing healthcare reporting and analytics using advanced SQL, BI tools (Tableau, Power BI), advanced Excel (Power Query, Power Pivot, Excel Data Model), large datasets, and cloud infrastructure
- • Strong understanding of healthcare data, including claims, clinical, and operational data
- • Proven experience managing the full lifecycle of reporting and analytics development, from requirements gathering through long-term maintenance
- • Expert-level troubleshooting skills with a focus on root cause identification and process improvement
- • Mature expertise in Jira, Confluence, project planning, Microsoft Office, and related productivity tools
- • Demonstrated ability to work independently, problem-solve, and make decisions in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple issues and production deadlines
- • Proficiency in using AI tools to improve productivity while maintaining appropriate guardrails
- • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to clearly convey complex technical information
- • Preferred: Proficiency in Python programming to support automation and advanced analytics capabilities
