• • Senior Android Developer role focused on building and enhancing an in-house mobile application used for live sports tracking and testing, supporting real-time video capture and on-device machine learning for ball and player tracking in cricket and other sports.
• • Day-to-day responsibilities include designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality Kotlin-based Android applications, optimizing performance for real-time workloads, working with Camera 2 API, integrating ML models, and collaborating with Tracking, Tooling, and Computer Vision teams.
• • Part of Sony Sports Technology’s Tracking team, operating in high-performance environments with occasional hands-on testing at live sports venues; hybrid working model requiring minimum 2 days per week in offices located in Basingstoke, London, or Bristol.
