- • Senior Applied AI Researcher role focused on solving open research problems across Articul8 AI's domain-specific GenAI platform, with ownership of end-to-end research programs from problem formulation to production deployment.
- • Day-to-day responsibilities include driving breakthroughs in domain-specific model quality through multi-stage training pipelines and RL-based optimization, designing and training multimodal systems across text, images, tables, and technical documents, architecting agent-orchestrated data and training infrastructure, mentoring AI researchers in agentic workflows, compressing research-to-production cycles via agentic CI/CD and continuous evaluation, building knowledge systems for team-wide leverage, and modeling the augmented researcher by identifying and eliminating workflow bottlenecks.

🎯 Requirements
- • PhD or MSc in Computer Science, Machine Learning, or a related field
- • 5+ years as an AI/ML researcher with shipped research artifacts (models, systems, or tools in production), including 2+ years building LLM-based systems
- • Deep expertise in at least one of: domain-specific model adaptation, multimodal learning, reinforcement learning from human feedback, knowledge-grounded generation, or retrieval-augmented systems, with published or shipped production work in the area
- • Hands-on experience with distributed training at scale (DeepSpeed, FSDP, Megatron-LM, or equivalent), understanding data vs. model parallelism
- • Production-grade Python skills with clean abstractions and tested code, building tools others depend on
