📋 Description

• Serve as the definitive authority for customers on automation strategy, designing and executing enterprise-scale solutions centered on Red Hat Ansible Automation Platform and Red Hat OpenShift.
• Lead consultative discovery, analysis, and design workshops with senior technical and business stakeholders to translate business goals into technical architectures.
• Act as the primary technical expert during the sales cycle, supporting presales workshops, building value-driven proposals, and identifying new customer success opportunities within active engagements.
• Design and implement modern platform architectures integrating Red Hat Ansible Automation Platform with container orchestration systems like Red Hat OpenShift and AI-enabling platforms such as Red Hat OpenShift AI.
• Collaborate directly with customer teams to co-deploy automation platforms and co-create custom Ansible content tailored to their environments.
• Remain hands-on in development, prototyping, and agile delivery of minimum viable products (MVPs) to validate architectural concepts and accelerate customer adoption.
• Present strategic roadmaps and architectural visions to diverse audiences, including engineers, IT leaders, and C-level executives.
• Support technical presales efforts by delivering proofs of concept and integrating business context into technical recommendations.
• Develop reusable reference architectures, best practices, and delivery models that standardize consulting offerings across Red Hat’s global client base.
• Mentor internal teams and clients on automation best practices, platform usage, and scalable workflow design.
• Contribute to the creation and evolution of consulting frameworks, capability playbooks, and standardized service offerings.
• Engage in continuous learning to rapidly master new technologies and apply them to customer challenges, particularly in automation, infrastructure, and cloud-native environments.
• Travel up to 40% of the time to support on-site client engagements, workshops, and delivery activities.
• Work within a globally distributed team environment, interacting with open source communities via email and IRC as needed.
• Apply DevOps methodologies and tooling to streamline automation pipelines and improve operational efficiency for enterprise clients.
• Leverage intermediate scripting skills in Bash, Python, or PowerShell to automate tasks, build prototypes, and enhance automation workflows.
• Maintain a strong passion for open source software, community-driven innovation, and scalable enterprise solutions.

🎯 Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in a Solution Architect, Enterprise Architect, or Architect consulting delivery role
• 2+ years focused on cloud environments and their supporting infrastructures
• Strong background in consultative customer engagement with a major consulting services organization or software company services division
• Proven track record of providing strategic advisory to senior IT and business executives
• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, including experience presenting to senior management
• Thorough hands-on experience with Ansible and high-level familiarity with Chef, Puppet, Salt, or similar automation tools
• Intermediate scripting proficiency in Bash, Python, or PowerShell
• Willingness to travel up to 40% of the time
