đź“‹ Description

  • • Juniper Square is at the forefront of digitizing private markets, aiming to unlock the full potential of assets like commercial real estate, private equity, and venture capital. We believe in bringing efficiency, transparency, and access to these historically inaccessible corners of the financial ecosystem. If you are passionate about leveraging technology to improve financial markets and thrive in a values-driven organization, we encourage you to apply.
  • • Our operational model is digital-first, enabling effective collaboration across our global teams spanning the U.S., Canada, India, Luxembourg, and England. We offer flexible work arrangements, from fully remote to in-office options at our San Francisco, New York City, Mumbai, and Bangalore locations.
  • • As a Senior Associate, Fund Administration, you will play a pivotal role as the dedicated technical expert for SSRS Investran reporting. Your primary responsibility will be to design, develop, and meticulously maintain the critical financial and investor reports that are essential for our operations. This role acts as a crucial bridge between our fund accounting and investor relations teams and our technology infrastructure, ensuring that General Partners (GPs) and Limited Partners (LPs) receive timely, accurate, and transparent data.
  • • You will be instrumental in the Report Development and Business Intelligence lifecycle. This includes the end-to-end process of designing, developing, rigorously testing, and deploying complex financial reports. These reports will encompass vital documents such as capital statements, and detailed investor-specific reports, all generated using SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) and drawing data directly from the Investran platform.
  • • A core component of your role will involve writing and optimizing intricate T-SQL queries. You will craft stored procedures and views designed for efficient data retrieval from the Investran database, ensuring optimal performance and data integrity. This technical proficiency is key to delivering reliable reporting solutions.
  • • You will be tasked with developing a variety of sophisticated report types to cater to diverse stakeholder needs. This includes parameterized reports that allow users to filter data dynamically, drill-down reports that enable exploration of data hierarchies, and drill-through reports that link related information. Specific examples include the generation of quarterly LP reports, the creation of capital call and distribution notices, and the accurate calculation of waterfall distributions, all requiring a deep understanding of fund structures and financial flows.
  • • Your expertise will extend to leveraging Investran-specific reporting tools. This includes proficiency with the Report Wizard and utilizing Excel OLEDB for data integration. Furthermore, you may be involved in integrating these reports with the Investran Data Exchange (DX) or other investor portals, enhancing the accessibility and usability of the generated information.
  • • Beyond new development, you will be responsible for the ongoing maintenance and enhancement of all existing Investran-based reports. This involves ensuring continuous data integrity, upholding the highest standards of accuracy, and guaranteeing that reports meet defined performance benchmarks. Proactive monitoring and optimization will be crucial.
  • • This role demands a strong technical foundation in report development, specifically with SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS), and a specialized understanding of the Investran platform. Your ability to translate complex financial requirements into technical specifications and deliver robust reporting solutions will be paramount to the success of our fund administration and investor relations functions. You will contribute directly to the transparency and efficiency of our private market operations, supporting our mission to make these markets more accessible and understandable for all stakeholders.
