📋 Description

• Senior Associate, Investment Strategy at Homebound, Inc. is a strategic role focused on driving the growth and execution of the infill spec development program (BOOL), translating growth targets into market-level plans and ensuring their execution across existing and new markets.
• Day-to-day responsibilities include co-owning the 8+ quarter infill growth plan, tracking performance against acquisition targets, identifying growth constraints, driving cross-functional coordination between Acquisitions, Architecture, Preconstruction, Product, and Construction Operations, supporting market expansion efforts, and troubleshooting in-quarter issues impacting volume, pricing, or conversion.
• Homebound is a technology-driven residential construction company transforming homebuilding by enabling customers to design, personalize, and buy homes online, backed by $150M in funding from investors like Google, Khosla, and Thrive Ventures, and scaling rapidly in Texas, Colorado, and Florida.
• The role offers the opportunity to shape and execute a critical growth strategy at the intersection of real estate, product, and operations, develop expertise in infill development and market expansion, and gain visibility into end-to-end homebuilding processes while influencing senior leadership and driving measurable outcomes in a fast-moving, ambiguous environment.

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in consulting, strategy & operations, or a highly analytical role with significant execution responsibility
• Experience owning complex, cross-functional projects from planning through execution
• Ability to manage multiple workstreams with attention to detail while operating comfortably in ambiguous environments
• Skill in influencing cross-functional stakeholders without direct authority
• Clear and concise communication in writing and presentations to senior audiences
• Familiarity with real estate, marketplaces, or supply-constrained businesses
• Strong interest in residential real estate development and housing markets
