- • We are seeking a highly motivated and analytical Senior Associate for our Regulatory Change Management (RCM) function, a critical team responsible for overseeing the enterprise-wide legal and regulatory obligations library and managing the processes for regulatory change monitoring and implementation.

- • As a Senior Associate, RCM, you will play a pivotal role in the day-to-day execution and continuous improvement of the RCM function, ensuring Coinbase remains compliant with all relevant legal and regulatory requirements.
- • Your responsibilities will span several key areas, including the maintenance and expansion of our Legal & Regulatory Obligations Inventory, ensuring its accuracy and comprehensiveness.
- • You will be instrumental in enhancing and strengthening our quarterly metrics and reporting, preparing and distributing these crucial updates to stakeholders.
- • A significant part of your role will involve supporting the Legal Teams' horizon scanning efforts, proactively identifying potential regulatory changes that could impact Coinbase.
- • You will assist in analyzing the applicability and impact of these identified regulatory changes, providing critical insights to inform strategic decisions.
- • Furthermore, you will support the tracking of the implementation of necessary process and control changes, conducting post-implementation reviews to ensure effectiveness.
- • You will provide expert advice and support on change management plans and their execution, guiding teams through the adoption of new regulatory requirements.
- • In program administration, you will perform Quality Assurance (QA) on data within our Regology and Archer platforms, ensuring data integrity and system functionality.
- • You will refine our approach and execute QA and validation of alert feed sources and keywords, maintaining the accuracy of our regulatory monitoring systems.
- • You will assist with the review of new content providers and horizon scanning workflow tools, optimizing our intelligence gathering processes.
- • Support will be provided for incident management related to quarterly risk reporting, ensuring timely and accurate resolution of issues.
- • You will manage stakeholder questions and provide support, fostering strong relationships and clear communication.
- • Oversight of workflows will be a key responsibility, ensuring that all RCM processes are functioning optimally and efficiently.
- • You will contribute to the drafting and maintenance of policies and procedures, ensuring they are up-to-date and aligned with best practices.
- • You will manage internal team documents and records, maintaining an organized and accessible repository of information.
- • You will also be involved in other project work as needed, contributing to the broader goals of the RCM function and the Legal department.
- • In the area of Risk/Control and Data Mapping, you will support the mapping of Legal Obligations to regulatory requirements, risk, and controls.
- • This includes supporting the implementation of a vendor solution for these mapping activities.
- • You will also support data mapping for Risk Assessments, Control Self-Assessments (RCSAs), and Policies and Procedures, ensuring alignment across different compliance frameworks.
- • This role requires a proactive, detail-oriented individual who thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and is passionate about navigating the complexities of regulatory compliance in the cryptocurrency space.

🎯 Requirements
- • Proven track record of building and executing regulatory change monitoring and change management programs/processes from the ground up.
- • Experience building out a legal/regulatory obligations library or significant exposure to such processes.
- • Working knowledge of laws, regulations, and risk management practices relevant to the financial services industry.
- • Strong written and verbal communication, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- • Expertise in PowerPoint/Google Slides and Excel/Google Sheets.
- • Juris Doctor (JD) degree.
