You will be instrumental in ensuring the robustness, reliability, and scalability of our cutting-edge cloud platforms and services, working in close collaboration with DevOps engineers and system architects.
  • • As a core member of the Cloud Team, you will immerse yourself in understanding intricate product and system requirements. Your expertise will be crucial in translating these complex needs into comprehensive and effective manual test cases, laying the groundwork for rigorous quality assurance.
  • • You will be responsible for the end-to-end design, meticulous execution, and ongoing maintenance of manual test scenarios. These scenarios will cover a broad spectrum of our offerings, including sophisticated cloud-based services, user-facing web applications, and critical API services, ensuring every component functions as intended.
  • • A key aspect of your role will involve validating system behavior across diverse operating environments, with a strong emphasis on Linux, while also demonstrating familiarity with other relevant operating systems. This ensures our solutions are resilient and performant across various platforms.
  • • You will conduct in-depth database testing, which includes thorough data validation and precise SQL-based verification. This ensures the integrity and accuracy of the data underpinning our services.
  • • Active participation in a variety of testing methodologies is expected, including Exploratory testing to uncover unexpected issues, Sanity testing to confirm basic functionality, Regression testing to ensure new changes haven't broken existing features, and comprehensive End-to-End testing to validate complete user journeys.
  • • Proactively identify potential quality risks early in the software development lifecycle. Your keen eye for detail and understanding of potential failure points will enable you to communicate these risks effectively to the development team, facilitating timely mitigation.
  • • You will monitor the health and performance of our test and non-production environments. Furthermore, you will provide crucial support in investigating and resolving production issues when they arise, contributing to the stability of our live services.
  • • Continuously analyze the effectiveness of our test coverage, seeking opportunities to optimize and improve manual testing processes. Your insights will drive efficiency and enhance the overall quality assurance strategy.
  • • A significant part of this role involves a strong motivation to grow and develop automation capabilities. You will be encouraged to gradually convert manual test flows into automated ones, contributing to a more efficient and scalable testing infrastructure.
  • • Collaborate closely with a wide range of cross-functional stakeholders, including product managers, developers, and operations teams, to ensure the delivery of high-quality, reliable cloud releases that meet business objectives and customer expectations.
  • • As a Senior Automation Engineer, you will contribute to defining and implementing best practices in test automation, potentially mentoring junior team members and driving the adoption of new tools and techniques.
  • • You will be involved in performance testing and security testing aspects, ensuring our cloud solutions meet stringent performance benchmarks and security standards.
  • • Your role will also include contributing to the development and maintenance of test automation frameworks, writing clear and maintainable automation scripts, and integrating these scripts into CI/CD pipelines.
  • • You will be expected to troubleshoot complex technical issues, perform root cause analysis, and provide detailed reports on testing activities, defects, and overall product quality.
  • • Embrace a culture of continuous learning and improvement, staying abreast of the latest trends and technologies in cloud computing, DevOps, and software quality assurance.
  • • This role offers a unique opportunity to shape the future of our cloud offerings by ensuring the highest levels of quality and reliability through meticulous testing and a forward-thinking approach to automation.

  • • Extensive experience with Linux operating systems, including command-line proficiency and system administration basics, along with familiarity with other operating systems.
  • • Proven experience working with databases, including the ability to write and validate complex SQL queries for data integrity checks and testing purposes.
