📋 Description

• As a Senior Backend Developer (PHP/Go) at Web.com Group, Inc., you will play a critical role in building and maintaining scalable, high-performance backend systems that power HostGator’s global online presence platform, directly enabling entrepreneurs to launch and grow their businesses online.
• You will analyze product requirements, design and implement robust APIs and microservices, collaborate with cross-functional teams, ensure system reliability and security, conduct code reviews, maintain automated tests, support production systems, and drive continuous improvement in development practices.
• You will join a dynamic engineering team within HostGator, part of Newfold Digital, a global leader in online presence solutions, working remotely from Brazil on impactful projects involving payments, billing, and scalable cloud-native architectures.
• In this role, you will deepen your expertise in backend technologies (PHP, Go, microservices, cloud platforms), gain hands-on experience with payment systems and antifraud mechanisms, contribute to architectural decisions, and grow as a technical leader through mentorship, code ownership, and exposure to high-scale SaaS environments.
