• • As a Senior Backend Engineer at Breakout Prop, you will design and implement core services for a crypto-native trading platform, focusing on real-time metrics, data pipelines, and performance monitoring to ensure scalability, reliability, and low-latency operations in a high-stakes trading environment.
• • Your day-to-day responsibilities include developing high-performance back-end services and RESTful APIs using C# and ASP.NET Core, architecting real-time financial data processing systems, building data pipelines for metrics dashboards and risk reporting, optimizing PostgreSQL queries and schemas, integrating third-party APIs, resolving performance bottlenecks, and implementing security best practices for authentication, authorization, and data encryption.
• • You will join Breakout, a crypto-native prop trading platform recently acquired by Kraken, which combines deep liquidity, cutting-edge technology, and world-class risk management to empower traders with transparency and innovation in competitive markets.
