📋 Description
- • Senior Backend Engineer - Golang role at Emma Matratzen GmbH, a leading global D2C sleep brand, where you will drive technical leadership in building scalable, high-performance backend systems that power the company’s digital sleep products and customer experience across 35+ markets.
- • Day to day, you will design, develop, and maintain robust Golang-based microservices, optimize APIs and databases for scalability and reliability, mentor junior engineers, lead technical discussions, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver features that enhance user experience and operational efficiency.

- • In this role, you will deepen your expertise in Golang and distributed systems, gain end-to-end ownership of critical backend infrastructure, influence architectural decisions at scale, and grow into a technical leader shaping the future of Emma’s digital platform.
🎯 Requirements
- • 5+ years of professional backend development experience with strong proficiency in Golang
- • Proven experience designing and maintaining scalable microservices architectures
- • Solid understanding of relational and NoSQL databases, API design (REST/gRPC), and cloud platforms (preferably AWS or GCP)
