📋 Description

• • As a Senior Backend Engineer at NIRA, you will play a pivotal role in scaling a consumer credit platform designed to serve ~200 million underserved individuals in Middle India, directly contributing to a mission-driven effort to expand fair credit access through innovative, data-powered financial products.
• • Your day-to-day responsibilities will include collaborating with the local NIRA Engineering team and the broader APAC Engineering team to scale the platform, expanding support for multiple financial products and underlying instruments, driving iterations on credit policy, improving credit decision systems, and partnering with product, credit/finance, compliance, support, and analytics teams to deliver robust backend solutions.
• • You will join Tilth’s NIRA initiative, a fast-growing, mission-focused consumer credit platform backed by US-based Tilt, operating across 5,000+ cities and processing over 15,000 loan applications daily, where engineering excellence directly translates to social impact and financial inclusion.
