📋 Description

• Design and implement scalable integration solutions using Python (FastAPI), REST, gRPC, Apache Kafka, Redis, and SQL to connect the AI voice platform with external partners and service providers.
• Support the Enterprise Integrations team by managing end-to-end integration processes from requirement gathering to production deployment.
• Collect and define technical requirements from internal stakeholders, estimate task complexity, and plan delivery timelines with precision.
• Conduct regular code reviews to maintain a consistent, high-quality codebase and enforce technical standards across the engineering team.
• Ensure production readiness and technical excellence by strictly adhering to delivery deadlines and implementing robust error handling and monitoring.
• Monitor and stabilize integrations post-deployment using observability tools such as Grafana to detect anomalies and ensure system reliability.
• Proactively identify and resolve technical blockers to maintain project momentum and minimize downtime for enterprise customers.
• Collaborate closely with the CTO and senior engineering team to define architecture, delivery approaches, and technical standards for AI-powered customer interaction systems.
• Work in a remote-first environment with working hours aligned to 9:30 AM – 6:30 PM UTC to ensure alignment with global stakeholders and customers.
• Engage in stakeholder management to control scope, align expectations, and communicate progress effectively across engineering, product, and customer success teams.
• Apply Agile/Scrum methodologies using tools like YouTrack to manage sprints, track tasks, and deliver incremental value in a fast-paced startup environment.
• Build integrations that are central to customers’ revenue operations, enabling businesses like restaurants, dental practices, HVAC companies, and call centers to automate customer calls 24/7.
• Contribute to a category-defining AI product that allows businesses to deploy voice and chat AI employees in minutes across multiple channels without coding or complex setup.
• Maintain strong communication and time-management skills to consistently deliver results under tight deadlines in a lean, engineering-led organization.
• Demonstrate a proactive “get things done” mindset with high autonomy and ownership, making independent decisions to drive product impact and customer success.

🎯 Requirements

• 4+ years of hands-on backend development experience
• Strong technical toolkit including Python (FastAPI), REST, gRPC, SQL, Apache Kafka, Redis, and Postman
• Experience designing and implementing robust, scalable integration solutions with external partners and service providers
• Background as a backend engineer with solid understanding of event-driven and asynchronous architectures
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum processes and tools such as YouTrack and Grafana
• English language B2+ (writing and speaking)
