📋 Description

• Design and own end-to-end measurement strategies aligned with client-purchased solutions and stated business outcomes to quantify human capital impact.
• Translate BetterUp’s solution capabilities into defensible success metrics, KPIs, and leading indicators of organizational and financial impact.
• Build statistically sound, scalable ROI models and business cases that demonstrate the financial and operational value of behavioral science interventions.
• Partner with Sales and Enterprise teams to embed impact narratives into deal strategy, late-stage sales motions, and expansion/renewal conversations.
• Produce executive-ready materials that directly support upsell, retention, and client growth initiatives through data-driven storytelling.
• Lead advanced data analysis to identify causal signals, outcome drivers, and meaningful patterns across client datasets beyond descriptive analytics.
• Validate analytical findings against scientific standards to ensure credibility, repeatability, and methodological rigor.
• Develop high-impact data narratives that translate complex behavioral science insights into clear, compelling executive insights for C-suite stakeholders.
• Deliver Business Value Reviews that demonstrate measurable value realization and align outcomes with client strategic priorities.
• Act as a core partner in ensuring clients achieve and recognize value from their investment, proactively surfacing risks and recommending evidence-based course corrections.
• Strengthen long-term client trust through credible, outcome-focused communication and strategic advisory.
• Serve as the internal authority for upholding scientific integrity, validity, and ethical standards across all measurement and analytics work.
• Safeguard the credibility of BetterUp’s science in both client-facing and internal contexts through rigorous governance.
• Apply AI-driven tools and insights to enhance client engagement, identify growth opportunities, and improve account performance (e.g., personalization, upsell targeting, churn prediction).
• Use AI-generated data analysis to quantify impact on client outcomes such as retention, expansion, and ROI, informing strategic account recommendations.
• Facilitate and present findings to large audiences and senior executives both virtually and in person with clarity and influence.
• Operate with agility in high-growth SaaS environments, adapting to shifting market conditions, organizational priorities, and ambiguous scenarios.
• Maintain a bias for action and a mindset rooted in outcomes, ownership, and long-term impact rather than task completion.
• Contribute to a culture of human transformation by embodying and promoting the values of coaching, scientific rigor, and ethical application of behavioral science.

🎯 Requirements

• PhD in Behavioral Science, Industrial-Organizational Psychology, Organizational Psychology, Behavioral Economics, or a closely related field
• Domain expertise in behavioral science AND HR (especially Talent Development, Talent Management, L&D, or OD)
• Experience presenting to large audiences and executives both virtually and in person
• Expertise working with quantitative and qualitative data, including basic statistics, pattern analysis, and data-driven recommendations
• Experience operating inside high-growth SaaS, human transformation platforms, or people tech companies
• Comfort with ambiguity, a bias for action, and a drive to make things better, not just get them done
