📋 Description
- • Senior Bookkeeper role supporting Australian small business clients with full-cycle bookkeeping across multiple industries, ensuring accurate, audit-ready financial records in a remote, structured environment.
- • Day-to-day responsibilities include managing bank reconciliations, processing accounts payable and receivable, maintaining records in Xero, MYOB, and QuickBooks Online, supporting BAS and payroll preparation, and preparing monthly financial reports.
- • Pear Tree is an Australian accounting firm serving SME clients, operating with a remote team based in the Philippines, emphasizing accuracy, proactive issue resolution, and client-focused service.
- • The role offers opportunity to deepen expertise in Australian bookkeeping standards, gain experience across multiple accounting platforms, and take ownership of client financial integrity in a growing firm.
🎯 Requirements
- • Minimum 3–5 years of hands-on bookkeeping experience, preferably supporting Australian clients
- • Proficiency in Xero is required
- • Proficiency in MYOB and/or QuickBooks Online (QBO) is strongly preferred
- • Advanced Excel and/or Google Sheets skills
- • Strong working knowledge of bookkeeping principles, Australian GST, and general compliance requirements
- • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills

- • Salary: AUD 1,800 – 2,200 per month (depending on experience and skills)
- • Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM Sydney Time
