📋 Description

• Senior Business Analyst, AI & Automation role at Babylist Inc., a leading registry, e-commerce, and content platform for growing families with over $1B in annual GMV and $500M in 2024 revenue, focused on connecting families with everything they need to thrive.
• Lead end-to-end process discovery across business functions to uncover how work actually happens, identify AI and automation opportunities, and design structured, AI-ready workflows using LLMs, prompt engineering, and multi-agent systems that both humans and AI agents can execute reliably.
• Join a remote-first company with team members across the U.S. and Canada that embeds AI as an expectation in daily work, meets twice yearly to build relationships, and values people who are excited about what’s possible and prove it through action.
• Drive impact by translating ambiguous real-world processes into durable specifications, defining decision logic and edge cases, creating evaluation frameworks for AI workflows, partnering with engineering and AI enablement teams, and continuously improving systems based on operational feedback and model performance.

🎯 Requirements

• 8+ years in business analysis, process improvement, or systems design with a track record of leading end-to-end process discovery across multiple business functions
• Deep experience translating ambiguous, real-world workflows into structured artifacts (BRDs, process maps, or equivalent) that business stakeholders and technical teams can act on
• Hands-on experience with LLM platforms or AI tools (Claude, OpenAI, Gemini, or similar) and understanding of how to use them to explore, test, and refine workflows
• Familiarity with prompt engineering concepts, including structuring inputs, controlling outputs, and designing for consistency in LLM behavior
• Understanding of how AI systems operate in production, including RAG, tool/function calling, or multi-agent workflows at a practical level
• Experience defining decision logic, exception handling, and edge cases in a way that holds up beyond ideal scenarios
